So, I made a SMG2 custom level in Whitehole loaded it with Dolphin with my files and it crashed but i found the issue and it stopped crashing. I wanted to play it on the Wii so I got the HBC and Riivolution. I got a SMG2 Template put the RedBlueExGalaxy in the StageData in the template folder and then put the XML in the Riivolution folder.
SD Card -> apps -> riivolution -> SMG2Test.xml
SD Card -> apps -> riivolution -> SMG2Test (folder)
SD Card -> apps -> riivolution -> SMG2Test (folder) -> StageData -> RedBlueExGalaxy (folder)
Those are the main files I needed to play my level. But I load up Riivolution, enable the hack, and it's just vanilla SMG2. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Also, this is my first post ever so it's kinda bad.

Your mistake is this:
SD Card -> apps -> riivolution -> SMG2Test (folder)

Put the SMG2Test folder to the root of your SD card, that's where most templates refer to
SD Card -> SMG2Test (folder)

It's still vanilla SMG2. I did enable the hack.
Here's the XML script:
That's also why I put it in the riivolution folder because it says it's looking for SMG2Test in the riivolution folder.

it's not looking for /apps/riivolution/SMG2Test.

It's looking for /riivolution/SMG2Test, with the riivolution folder on the root.
