So,this is my first post here and I hope u guys can help me ^^

I'm currently working on a Super Mario Galaxy 2 Repainted which includes mainly custom Textures and Music. The creating of music for strm.ast files , for example SMG2_galaxy04_strm.ast etc. works great, no problems with loop points or anything. Btw I'm using FL Studio 12 for the music editing and the AstConverter 1.0 by Anthe for converting.
Now my problem:
The game contains some multi.ast files , for example SMG2_galaxy03_multi.ast. when I create an ast for this galaxy, the music is cut off. It plays like 10 or 15 seconds, then it stops and you hear for like 20 seconds nothing, then it plays the music again for 10 or 15 seconds. This progress is looping the whole stage.
I know that people figured that out for Mario Kart Wii, but is there any way to solve this for Super Mario Galaxy 2?

You have to export your AST with 4 channels to create a multi.ast and 2 channels for a standard.ast. Your soundtrack will cut off when it expects a multi.ast but gets a standard.ast instead. ASTConverter can handle 4-channel WAV files just fine.
Make sure you export WAV files from FL Studio instead of MP3 files. AST is a lossless format but MP3 isn't; means you would convert lossy to lossless which is always a bad idea. Furthermore MP3 files can only contain max. 2 channles while WAV files aren't limited in the amount of channels (I guess).

And for clarification: two channels equal one stream (or "audio stream") where the first channel plays the left audio and the second channel plays the right audio. So a standard.ast file has one stream and a multi.ast file has two streams.
