1. How do I make the Blue Shell work properly? (right now it crashes the game).

2. How do I make Large Galactic Tornadoes work?

3. How do I make the Star Ball work in RedBlueEx?

4. Is it possible to have gold shells in SMG2 (highly impossible but might be possible)?

5. Can I make a custom 'slide' like in Tall Trunk but custom in RedBlueEx?

6. What ActorInfo do I use for the broken SMG2 gold chest? Is it from TreasureChestCracked?

For the first one: did you set a path for it? and isn't the blue shell just blue in whitehole but actually green in game?

1. Dunno. It's known to crash the game, but we don't know how to fix that.
2. It requires paths.
3. Well, iirc it requires a power star. You shouldn't add power stars to the HUB.

No, the blue shell isn't just blue in whitehole, I saw someone on youtube have a Blue Koopa working correctly on their wii. The Galactic Tornado needs paths? Why doesn't it explain it in the objectdb.xml? Thanks for the help anyway

I have working Blue Koopas. But the shell is green when you pick it up.

The same thing happened to me, which is why I just usually stick to red/green koopas.

Blue Koopas =/= Blue Shells.

It would make sense, they're not even supposed to be in the game, they got scrapped and were so close to being finished.

Although the blue shell on the other hand is blue no matter what.

Ah, okay. That would most likely be done using the slide material/surface/floor code when importing your object. I haven't tested this, but I'm pretty sure that's what it does.

Well, because my thought was creating an areaobj that had the 'Slide' area. This is because the moment you exit the slide at the end, it takes you back to 'normal'

Dunno how I forgot to reply here... The slider effect is created by an object called TubeSlider which is used in combination with the planet. Take a look at Tall Trunk's or Freezy Flake's setups in case you're interested.

How do you determine how far away the tube's surface should be from the path? I am working on a tube level but have no idea how big to make the actual tube.
