Damn! I forgot that one!

Just tick off fragment lightning and turn on vertex lightning when going to material attribute.

Will this method work when exporting as .obj? Because whenever I do so, the model exports but without shading.

I know cmdl is for 3D Land. I'm just asking if I were to export as .obj for something different like Mario Galaxy, would this method work.

IIRC OBJ is a simple model format that doesn't support vertex colors. Punch me if I'm wrong.

Well during smg modding era, I remember shading my models in blender and then exporting as obj! From there i converted them to bdl. Vertex colors worked and showed in game.

Saving as obj in Maya I think it would work honestly, but it is a very long time ago, so I might have forgotten something
