Yay. Here is my remake of Shifting Sand Land from Mario 64





Older screenshoots:

It's near completed, but there are still things to do:
-the models need some vertex collours, some texture improvemens and maybe more polygons
-the quicksand needs to be animated, and i don't know, how to make that o.O
-an idea, how to get the quicksand working, that it can push Mario to the middle.
-my level seems to have so many objects, that the level is crashing now, so i must find a way to fix this. Either i have to find a way to get mario to switch the level szs, or i have to delete some objects what i don't want to do

Wow, that looks very good! I think it would look better with SM3DL textures. World 3-1 and World 6-1 has some nice graphics.

Not bad, the only issue I have with it is the textures, though you're probably planning on improving those.

As I said on GBAtemp, this looks excellent. I would recommend using the sandy background from 5-1 instead of the generic cloud background

Jep, I will do that. First i tried to make a custom background, but it somehow doesn't work, so i will use this.

The model is now improved, it got new textures. It only needs now vertex collours and "SRT animations" (Texture animation) for the quicksand. The level is almost done.

You shouldn't place those burners inside the wall. It looks weird. Also, the texture that you're using for the wall looks a little bit out of place.

Dude. This looks absolutely great. I love how you used a big spike pillar for that one part!

Please add some hidden green timer clocks. As this is an explorative level i'd like to have the oppurtunity to extend the time limit.

Also, disagreeing with the comment above, I think the wall texture is smooth and looks great!

Level got finished! It got a LOT of camera fixes, CTRView fixes, and a lot more. The little cutscenes got an update, and i also changed the model and the kcl to avoid cheating and such.
