A thread for general discussion not warranting it's own thread, since I noticed we didn't have one.

Anyway, it looks like Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam has collision problems that basically make it even more broken than Paper Mario.
Anyway, I know there are channels devoted to Paper Mario glitches, but this is just failed collision work. The rocks are anything but solid.

Hm, never heard of that.

Anyway, I think the game is still a great game. It's my favorite in the M&L series simply because of gameplay and.. fun to mess with collision glitches

It's nowhere near as bad as Sonic '06 like some think, however. You don't encounter glitches without going way out of your way to find them. I didn't even know it was glitchy at all before watching that video.

what about sonic boom?
if you jump with knuckles and press pause then unpause you are then allowed to jump again!
it can never be a sonic game without the glitches!

argl. The first two games were good any glitch-free (for the most part). Then Sonic Team decided that Sonic needed a 3D game.

...I wish that nightmare never started. Sonic's fanbase is terrible, and they were also the reason sonic '06 was rushed so hard, because they didn't bother checking things simply so the game could come out early. That of course was also a nightmare. Glitches everywhere, bad plot, etc... simply because the fans had no patience

anyway, I added a better BG to my post layout.

I'll probably change the color of the box at some point as well, it currently doesn't contrast very well

The best they have done in recent years is Generations (gotta love Stardust Speedway Bad Future remixed!) and also the port of Sonic CD.

Remix10tailed is actually working on hacking the iOS version of CD, he managed to restore the original version of Sonic - You Can Do Anything, but is having trouble restoring Cosmic Eternity for the good and bad endings.

I don't get anything to load in citra. Sometimes it just displays, that this file is not supported. Sometimes it makes just nothing :-/

Citra's not gonna be fast, because someone decided that having a perfect C++11 code structure was more important than everything else

Lol, the main things that should be considered is emulation accuracy-speed balance and also making sure that an open source project is actually open: that is, not rejecting things based on what or who they are but if they work and are beneficial.

With any of the 3DS Emulators, can the in-game resolution be increased at this point in time? Or are we stuck with the native resolution of the 3DS?

More post layout changes, I guess.

Dunno if I'll keep the center or not, but I kinda like it finally, a layout maker layout that wasn't flat out terrible

Though the only place you can get a layout maker layout is my board, for some reason.
All the other boards have it disabled.

Sherry_'s good at layout making though, he made mine on 101G and the one I now use here.

the layout maker is like giving nuclear weapons to Hitler.

of course, you're the only person who would do that.

sigh.

i wouldn't say the same - you can easily just delete shitty layouts and make rules for them. It's what i did on a 101G board not a long while ago; nothing went terribly wrong.

Then again, it was a pretty small community. I'm sure it'd be a nuclear disaster on RVLution.

(if RVLution still exists, even)

MLG Super Mario Galaxy

or

Super Mario Galaxy MLG Edition

This is for a hack I will be making in the future.

BTW: Aurum, pin this thread please
