Who's in charge of making Thwompworks? I've got some small ideas that I think would be cool to see in such a level.

I was going to start on this eventually, but I don't have any models done yet. You can still post ideas, though.

Seeing as how you're going for a more Chompworks-like approach, I think it would be pretty cool to include some Clockwork Ruins hammers and gravity switches, to make maximum use of some areas. Think about it this way: You dodge some Thwomps, flip a gravity arrow and now you have to use one as a vertical platform to get to the next part of the level.

Also, it would be interesting to have gear-like, spinning platforms in this level. If I remember correctly, Megaleg's gears were all separate pieces. One could be model swapped with the Space Storm spinning-base platform to make it spin, and voila, you have a platform that fits the area theme, right?

Model-swapping isn't required, since you can always add it to ProductMapObjDataTable.

The Gear platform (RotateCrossStep) is the biggest piece of shit object in the entire game. No matter how many times I mess with it, Mario's gravity is always fucked up when he stands on it. Unless we can make another gear platform.


I had a few ideas for Thwompworks too, such as Tox Boxes on Flipswitch Panels

As I said, use ProductMapObjDataTable. Create a new object as a RotateMoveObj.

Isn't that a cork platform from Twisty Trials? By gear I meant the more mechanical kind.

Also, I believe it'd be wise to use Tox boxes in the final area with the star.
