The ItemBubble object from SMG1 is only seen containing starbits. However, parameters exist that will make it contain coins and no items at all.
In the E3 2006 demo, item bubbles with coins can be seen on the palm planets.

The height a character gains from a Spin in the air depends on the shook controller. Here's a ranking:

1. Mario (Wiimote)
2. Luigi (Nunchuk)
3. Luigi (Wiimote)
4. Mario (Nunchuk)
5. Yoshi (Wiimote)
6. Yoshi (Nunchuk)
Yoshis properties do not depend on the character sitting on.

Holding A while spinning increases the gained height.

Certain enemies a placable and view-able in the world map, but, so far the only ones that don't crash are goombas and bomb-ombs

OMG this proves that everything in SMG2 is a 'galaxy'. Since you can open it in whitehole! I wish giant goomba worked in World Map too. I wonder if Starship mario is actually Mario and the paths (yellow lines) are corridors that mario walks through. Maybe!

Separate code handles that. Mario actually has a spawn point, but he never spawns.

Actually, I remember that when I was trying to get the 8th worldmap to work (so that there was a completely new world) I accidentally got the screen to stay black.

After waiting a bit, I realized that the game didn't crash. How I knew? 'Cause Mario DIED.

When Mario came back from the dead, I was inside the 8th worldmap as if it were a normal galaxy. I placed an object for mario to land on, and sure enough, it was acting like your everyday galaxy.

The WorldMap was missing some handlers (probably in the main.dol) that make Mario not spawn. It is also probs missing the code that controls moving the faceship.

Super Hackio, are you going to include this in SMG Run? If it works properly? I heard that adding new worlds is impossible, but you did it. I know new galaxies are impossible, but i'm sure there will be a workaround someday. BTW: Super Hackio do you have NTSC U or PAL, I have PAL.

SimpleDemoExecuters don't require ASM to work.

Also, I'm not going to use SMG2's built-in cutscene controllers for SMG RUN. I'll be making my own.

Hmm, the 4 last lines look like some things were meant to be related to Tall Trunk's big slide...

Peach slider, ey. Looks to me like there was meant to be a different ending... Or maybe peaches like the fruits that Yoshi eats?

Testsprialmap looks like an old version of Tall Trunk.

TrialProduct sounds like the three trials from SMG1 with the green lumas

Very strange!
